About Panda Inn

Located at 201 N Maryland Ave, Glendale, CA 91206, Panda Inn operates as a chinese restaurant serving Glendale in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as asian restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Glendale; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amโ€“9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Panda Inn at (818) 502-1234; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, pandainn.com.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 587 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Glendale.

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Mel at Panda Inn Glendale for providing absolutely world-class customer service! ๐Ÿ™Œ Mel went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. She was friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely made the entire experience enjoyable. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and takes pride in what she does. Customer service like this is hard to find these days, and Mel definitely deserves recognition for it. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and taken care of from start to finish. The food was delicious and itโ€™s what you expect from Panda Inn Restaurants. Thank you, Mel, for an awesome experience!

Service during dining was great! Food was tastyโ€”some were better than others but, overall, good. The hostesses were okayโ€”though the restaurant wasnโ€™t busy/packed, it took them about 10 min to seat us and we had reservations. They could have done better by communicating delay rather than the general โ€œweโ€™ll be with you.โ€ Made us wonder if they knew what was going on. Also, saw that they seated 2 other people that came after us before us. Very much appreciated that they packed up our leftovers for usโ€”people donโ€™t really do that anymore so that was a pleasant surprise!

Had the best food. My cousin ordered a dish we didn't really like, the server immediately asked, if we were enjoying the food, we said it was not what we thought it would be... Nothing wrong with the dish... Just different... The server asked if we wanted to replace the dish... Which we did. Was absolutely beautiful... At no extra expense...we enjoyed the food, can't wait for next time...

If you like Panda Express then Panda Inn is a must try place for you. It is owned by the same company of the Panda Express but upscaled it towards a more fine dining experience. You can pretty much expect all the dishes of express plus extra other unique dishes. The service was excellent, the interior design is classy, but it does come with the higher price tag.

We flew in from Tampa, Florida, for a wedding and a late anniversary celebration; deciding that the Panda Inn was at the very top of our list of things we couldn't miss. Both being originally from California and huge fans of Panda Express, it felt like an honor to finally experience where it all began. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the entire experience was an absolute pleasure. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating, making our special occasion feel even more memorable. The food was everything we had hoped for and more. The dumplings were amazing to start, and the Mai Tai I ordered was exceptionally well-balanced and delicious. For our entrees, we got the Orange Chicken and the Chow Fun, and both were absolutely incredible. You can taste the quality and care that goes into each dish โ€“ everything was cooked to perfection. We had zero issues and loved every minute of our dining experience. For anyone who loves the quick-service Panda Express and has been thinking of trying the original restaurant, I cannot recommend it enough. It's a fantastic dining experience that lives up to the legacy. We will definitely be back on our next trip t
